2020 GCCAHS Virtual Scholarship Competition Results!
Congratulations to all our competitors in our 2020 GCCAHS Scholarship Competition!
There were a lot of outstanding entries, and we appreciate all the hard work by students, families, and teachers that went into the success of this competition. Thank you to Megan Sesma, the past Northeast Regional Directory & 2nd Vice President of the American Harp Society. Megan is the Principal Harpist of the US Coast Guard Band and is on Harp Faculty at the University of Connecticut, Wesleyan University, and Connecticut College.
Here are our results:
Beginner Division (up to age 12):

- Honorable Mention: Rebekah Esper

Junior Division (up to age 15):
- 1st: Miriam Kessler
- 2nd: Jessica Chen
Senior Division (up to age 18):
- 1st: Angelina Chan
- 2nd: Emma Chen
- 2nd: Natalia Scheinfeld
- Honorable Mention: Nancy Zhou
Teachers will be receiving the feedback sheets to pass on to students, and all contestants who placed in our divisions will be featured in the Winners Recital as part of Lyon & Healy’s Harp Day on November 8.
