Why Join the Greater Chicago Chapter of AHS?

To be a part of the community of harpists, harp-makers, and harp enthusiasts in and around Chicago.  We strive to be a source of enrichment for harp students, teachers, and performers and are constantly finding new ways to continue the vibrant history of harp performance, making, and learning in Chicagoland.

Members get attendance at members-only events, early-bird access to masterclasses, workshops, and concerts, discounted or free entry to ticketed events, inclusion in our Professional Directory, features on our event calendar and social media accounts, student participation in group recitals, student participation in masterclasses, student or individual participation in harp ensemble, and access to all of GCCAHS’ resources.

Why are there dues?

Your dues make it so we can bring in guest artists and compensate them fairly, rent venues, cover day-to-day operating expenses, sponsor event proposals, and continue to offer special access to our events.

How do I become a member?

To become a regular member of GCCAHS you must be a member of the American Harp Society. If you are not a member, you can sign up here: https://www.harpsociety.org/membership.

Once you are a member of the AHS, come back here where you can complete your application process by paying your dues.

If you would like to become a student, family member, post a classified, or receive the newsletter of GCCAHS you do not have to belong to the American Harp Society and can go directly to here to pay our dues.

Membership form may be printed and sent with payment to the membership secretary. Please make checks payable to Chicago Chapter of the American Harp Society. In order to obtain the physical mailing address for your form & payment, please email greaterchicagoahs@gmail.com.
